What is NATHAL?

EEG landscape diagram of NATHAL session

The above diagram shows measurements by Dr. Günther Haffelder, Institute for Communication and Brain Research, Stuttgart: Left and right brain hemisphere are completely synchronous. The activities in the lower brain wave bands are associated with the access to higher realms of information, while the subject is wide awake (large peaks in beta range). A very slow oscillation below 1 Hz, hitherto unknown to neuroscience, could be identified as a unique phenomenon, only appearing during information transfer in NATHAL® sessions.

How does NATHAL work?

NATHAL® works through the visualization of inner images. The disciple then enters into a personal, symbolic dialogue in which he learns to be guided by the "Source", which is the origin of all creativity. The teacher gives detailed instructions and feedback how to better conduct that dialogue, let oneself be guided, and not slip into leading the session oneself.

Each NATHAL® session lasts about 1,5 hours, followed by a debriefing and feedback talk in the group (usually 4-8 people). This is done twice a day, 5 days on block. This may appear as a long time to invest, but it is incredibly effective. Many participants experience mental and emotional states that would otherwise require months or even years of meditation! Brain synchronicity is established over the complete range of brain waves (beta, alpha, theta, delta), as was shown in 1985. It was then proven that the adult brain forms new synapses – the mere possibility was acknowledged by neuroscience only ten years later! No other method could ever reproduce the quality and range of synchronicity.

Synchronicity of left and right hemisphere implies unison of intellect and feelings. This means that any information has an emotional component and is not just data, as can be stored in a computer. Our brains conceive new information threw new emotions!

Where did NATHAL® come from?

NATHAL® was created through German psychologist and psychotherapist Dr. Gertje Lathan (1943-2022). She discovered in herself the ability to connect other people to higher spiritual sources. She initially used this with extraordinary success as a therapy method for her patients. From 1980 on she exclusively taught the method in the form of group seminars for personality development.

NATHAL® is the inversion of her name - Lathan. This states that the method and the dialogue with the superior source are always in the foreground, never the teacher. Her successors continue to teach NATHAL® in the same manner.

How do I start?

There is only one hard requirement to start with NATHAL® training: the ability to visualize, i.e. conjure inner images at will. Don’t worry if you think your images are only vague and don’t feel like an integrated scene – it will work nonetheless. If you still feel unsure - contact us!

Apart from that, it is helpful to start the training in a good, relaxed mood. Instructions for the training are simple and can be taught to an 8-year-old.

Try to minimize your personal and professional responsibilities for the days of training. You will need every ounce of energy for the deeply transformative process that is initiated from day one on!
